I made my art piece because we were just getting started on our first project and we were learning about collaboration elements of degsin. I made my art by drawing some random shapes and I picked the one I liked most. I got to work on that cut out my shape painted it in a jagged lines. After being done with my project we all got together and put our art pieces together. I picked the colors that were darkish and one line that would really pop on both sides.

I made a vase with detailed cravings when it drys out I plan on glazing it and painting it brown or blue. I took a lot of my time on making coils and building up the walls of the vase. I made sure that all the sides were even before letting it dry out. My art has some meaning to me, I like taking my time just so I know it looks good and that I feel good about my art work.

I did a print instead of a collage because I wanted to do something new. I did a very detailed print of a pitbull. I used a carving tool to carve out my image also I used different colored ink and brayer. My art is suppose to have the meaning of my outlook on pitbulls and how other people have an outlook. I feel like many people feel that pitbulls are mean dogs when there not. My outlook is I feel as there any other dog they can be a mans best friend too.

I made this piece because I have a relation with domestic violence. This picture is suppose to show nobody really knows what happen behind close doors. The fact that many people are in this situation where either its a man or a women it needs to be known. The quote "He said it wouldn't happen again" giving a hint that this poster is about domestic violence. This poster speaks out about what's really going on in the world hoping that this poster helps a little but it will take much more than a little poster.
